Job Description
The Mail Operations Senior Clerk will assist the team in executing Mail Operations related functions, that contribute to the completion and success of any expectations or customer requests. Most tasks will involve the proper processing and handling of all courier and mail types, and other mail operations projects as assigned. The Mail Operations Senior Clerk will perform all tasks in a cost efficient and effective manner, all of which is executed safely and within the Company guidelines.
What you will do – Essential Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, review, and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail
- Provide the Home Office, and Home Office extension buildings with Mail Operations support
- Work with members of different business areas to resolve mailing questions and issues
- Coordinate machine servicing with external vendors
- Maintain inventory of department supplies, invoice reconciliation and replenishment, asset tracking and disposal
- Other duties and projects as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Mail operations experience (preferred)
- Valid driver's license & a clean driving record
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Basic communications, computer, and math skills

Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the CarMax Home Office in Richmond, VA. Associates based in Richmond work onsite 5 days per week.
Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Sponsorship will not be considered for this specific role.
